Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Embroidery Digitizer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for converting artwork, logos, and custom designs into high-quality digital embroidery files. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of stitch types, fabric behavior, and industry-standard software to ensure flawless production.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Convert complex client artwork, logos, and sketches into clean embroidery formats (DST, EMB, PES, etc.).
- Edit and optimize existing designs for better stitch count, density, and production efficiency.
- Specialize in various techniques including Left Chest logos, Cap/Hat designs, 3D Puff, Jacket Backs, and Custom Patches.
- Analyze fabric types to adjust pull compensation, underlay, and density accordingly.
- Perform quality checks on digitized files to ensure zero thread breaks or puckering during production.
- Meet daily deadlines and manage high-volume orders efficiently.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2–3+ years of experience in commercial embroidery digitizing.
- Software Skills: Mastery of Wilcom DecoStudio/Wilcom Embroidery Studio or Pulse.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of machine limitations (Tajima, Barudan, Happy, etc.), stitch directions, and fabric dynamics.
- Portfolio of previous digitizing work (including images of final stitched results if available).
- Sharp eye for detail, color blending, and small text clarity.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle quick turnaround times.
